Montgomery Montano came to financial services because he wanted to help people figure out their money. That motivation started early and hasn’t changed much since. He studied at Northwestern University and built his career across several firms before joining Digital Wealth Partners.
Before arriving at Digital Wealth Partners, Montgomery worked as a Senior Associate at Dinan and Company, a small investment bank, then as a financial advisor at Morgan Stanley, and later as an Investment Advisor at PNC Wealth Management. Across those roles, he spent his time constructing investment portfolios, building financial plans, trading, and talking with clients about what mattered to them. Most of that work centered on retirement planning and helping people think through their broader financial picture.
Montgomery holds a Series 65 license and is insurance licensed in Arizona for life and health. He also earned the CBDA (Certified in Blockchain and Digital Assets) designation from DACFP, which reflects his interest in how digital assets fit into financial planning conversations.
He grew up moving between states and countries, including a decade spent living in Latin America. That experience gave him fluency in Spanish and a real comfort working with people from different backgrounds and cultures. It also taught him how to adjust quickly when things around him changed.
Outside the office, Montgomery spends time with his family, travels when he can, and stays active with jet skiing and weightlifting. If those come up in a first meeting, he won’t mind the detour.
