Ryan grew up in Iowa and moved to Utah for school at BYU, where he earned his Finance degree. He’s married with two kids: a 3-year-old boy and a 1-year-old girl. He plays adult league hockey and follows the Detroit Red Wings closely, which requires real commitment living in Utah. He spent two years in Russia on a church mission and became fluent in Russian. His professional background spans multiple areas of insurance, working with different types of coverage and products.
